Here are some helpful troubleshoots we have found to help our users from the Holiday season!
When attempting to pair your sensor, please make sure that Bluetooth permissions have been allowed for the Diamond Kinetics app.
1. Go into your Settings app on your Apple Device.
2. Scroll down to "Diamond Kinetics" and select the app
3. Ensure the switch next to "Bluetooth" is showing green
After trying the above troubleshoots, please restart your Apple device. To completely power off your Apple device, hold the power button and the up volume arrow and then swipe to power off. To turn your device back on, hold down the power button.
Completely restarting your Apple device will do a full reset for the Bluetooth on your Apple device. After you have done this, please attempt to pair to your sensor again in the app!
Initial Connection:
- Open up your Diamond Kinetics app
- Go to Settings
- Select Sensor Tab
- Double tap the bat on the ground to wake up your sensor
- Click on the Bat Sensor's Icon when it appears on your Screen.
If your Bat Sensor disconnects in a Guided or Open Session, Follow these steps below to re-connect your Bat Sensor to the Diamond Kinetics App.
Guided/Open Sessions:
1.) Click the grey "Sensor Icon" in the top-right corner of the Diamond Kinetics app.
2.) Click on the Bat Sensor's name when it appears on your screen.
3.) If your Bat Sensor is connected correctly, the Sensor Icon will turn Green.
4.) Lastly, go back into your Guided/Open Session. You will see that your previous Swing will reload on the screen.
If your Bat Sensor disconnects in a Guided Session or during a Game(Barrel Speed Climber/Home-Run Derby), follow these steps below to connect your Bat Sensor to the Diamond Kinetics App.
Games
1.) If you do not see a swing load for up to 10 seconds, force close the app.
2.) Re-open the Diamond Kinetics app.
3.) Go to Settings
4.) Select Sensor Tab
5.) Click on the Bat Sensor's name when it appears on your screen, to connect to your Bat Sensor.
